Williams took a visit Oregon last weekend and wants to see Duke in the future. Williams is down to Oregon, LSU, Florida, Duke, Miami, Kansas and USC.
“It was great,” Williams told Scout of the Oregon visit. “It was great to see the Nike facilities, the school, and Phil Knight. It was just an awesome experience.”
Williams will visit Baton Rouge this upcoming weekend, his second official visit.
“I’m going to LSU on the 12th,” Williams told Scout. “One of my former teammates, Antonio Blakeney, went there and he’s told me a lot of great things about it so I want to go there and see it for myself.”
As for Florida, Williams is a resident of the state, which gives the Gators an edge.
“I love Florida,” Williams said. “I’m from Florida, that’s why. You have to love the hometown, gotta love the Gators. I never saw myself ever getting offered a scholarship from them, so it means a lot.”
According to 247Sports, Williams is the no. 21 player in the class of 2018 and the no. 5 prospect at his position.
