Williams took his first official visit to VCU last weekend and wasted no time committing to the Rams. Williams chose VCU over Toledo, Wichita State, Akron, Richmond, and Duquesne.
A two-star recruit according to 247Sports, Williams is the No. 18 player in the Class of 2018 from the state of Ohio and is the fourth member of the 2018 VCU recruiting class along with PJ Byrd, Corey Douglas, and KeShawn Curry, who committed last week.
Playing with All-Ohio Red this summer on the EYBL Circuit, Williams averaged 12.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
