Javian Fleming Cuts to Two Schools

Javian Fleming, the 6-foot-9 center from Canton (MS) High School, is down to two schools: Alabama and Georgetown.

“Yes, loved both visits, they were amazing,” he said. “Love both school campuses, staff and basketball Programs!”

The news was first reported by Corey Evans of Rivals.

He visited Alabama this weekend (Sept. 29) and Georgetown (Sept. 22). He has cut Texas &M, TCU (Oct. 6) and Iowa State (Oct. 13) from his list.

He previously broke down each school for D1Vision.com.

Alabama: “Just the way the program is changing and getting better year by year. Plus the relationship with the coaching staff.”

Georgetown: “Obviously Patrick Ewing is the Head Coach now, and that wouldn’t be bad learning from a Hall of Fame big man. But Georgetown has been a good basketball school, and he just stuck out to me with our talks.”
