Colin Castleton, the 6-foot-10, 215-pound power forward from Daytona Beach (FL) Father Catholic, has narrowed his list to two schools: Illinois and Michigan.
Castleton cut Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Purdue and Baylor from his initial list of eight.
He already visited Illinois (Sept. 1-3) and will trip to Michigan next weekend.

He previously broke down his final two for ZAGSBLOG:
Illinois: “My main thing with Illinois is just the coaching staff. I first got to know coach [Orlando] Antigua a couple years ago. It was my first ever offer. I felt like I should show respect to him for how hard he’s recruited me, which means a lot to me. And then I started getting to know coach [Brad] Underwood and the way his system works. So I’m really excited to go up there and see everything they have to offer and just take it all in.”
Michigan: “Michigan’s Michigan. They’ve been top of the Big Ten for years now. They made it to the Elite Eight last year. Coach [John] Beilein is one of the best coaches, in my opinion, and I also want to see where our relationship can go since it’s so late in the recruiting process and they’re staff is also great. The coach who’s recruiting me now was at Illinois State [Luke Yaklich].”
