Notre Dame on Wednesday landed a pledge from former Ohio State commit Dane Goodwin, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Columbus (OH) Upper Arlington.
Ranked the No. 21 shooting guard in the Class of 2018, Goodwin decommitted from Ohio State on June 21 following the firing of Thad Matta.
Goodwin is Notre Dame’s third commit in the Class of 2018, following four-star guard Prentiss Hubb and four-star guard Robby Carmody.
Notre Dame had been involved for 2018 Hudson Catholic shooting guard Luther Muhammad, but it would seem that schools like St. John’s, Xavier, Butler and Seton Hall now are in better position.
