Three Kentucky Players Make Sixers’ Summer League Roster

The Philadelphia 76ers announced the team’s roster and schedule for the Utah Jazz Summer League on Saturday.  The Sixers will play three games in Salt Lake City between July 3-6.

The Sixers roster is headlined by the first overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft, former Washington guard Markelle Fultz. He will be joined by three former Kentucky Wildcats in Alex Poythress, Isaiah Briscoe, and Aaron Harrison, along with former Maryland standout and rookie guard Melo Trimble.

Briscoe played two seasons with the Wildcats, posting 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 31 minutes per game, in 70 games. Trimble spent two seasons at Maryland, averaging 16 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in 33 minutes per game over 104 appearances.
