Quinnipiac Transfer Peter Kiss Visits Auburn, Rutgers Up Next

Transferring Quinnipiac combo guard Peter Kiss visited Auburn officially this weekend.

“Their message was that I would use my sit-out year to get my body right to play in the SEC because they expect Mustapha [Heron] and Danjel [Purifoy] to go to the Draft,” Kiss said. “They think I fit their system perfectly.”

The 6-foot-5 Kiss averaged 13.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists at Quinnipiac, including dropping 19 points on Seton Hall, 22 on Monmouth and 23 on Niagara. He will sit the 2017-18 season and then have three years of eligibility remaining.

Having already visited Seton Hall, Kiss will hit Rutgers next weekend.

Said his mentor Derrik Riullano: “He’s a late bloomer and the sky’s the limit for him in the right program.”

Mikey Dixon, Kiss’ former Quinnipiac teammate, committed to St. John’s on Tuesday.
