Kevin Knox Pushes Back Announcement Date

Kevin Knox has pushed his college announcement back to April 28 or May 1, depending on national television availability, his father told Cats Illustrated.

The 6-foot-8 Knox out of Tampa (FL) Catholic is considering Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida State and Missouri, and is coming off a visit to Missouri this past weekend.

Word of God (N.C.) Academy point guard Blake Harris also took the visit and committed to Missouri on Sunday. He will join former Washington commit Michael Porter Jr. at Mizzou, and Knox is considering that possibility, too.

“Yeah, me and Mike would be unstoppable on the wings, so that’s a lot of help,” Knox told 247Sports.com. “Me and him were talking a lot. We’re actually roommates out here [at the Nike Hoop Summit]. So, me and him get along really well.”

Knox will be in New York this week for the Jordan Brand Classic.
