Villanova, Miami, Minnesota Recruits Lead Jordan Brand Regional Game

Three Villanova recruits and two apiece from Miami and Minnesota highlight the Jordan Brand Regional Game roster released on Friday.

Collin Gillespie, Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree and Jermaine Samuels were named from Villanova.

Miami’s Chris Lykes and Deng Gak were chosen.

And the future Minnesota backcourt of Isaiah Washington and Jamir Harris were named. Washington on Monday was named New York Mr. Basketball, while Harris and his Patrick School teammates won the New Jersey Tournament of Champions title.

Four uncommitted players are in the game in Jordan Tucker, Greg Calixte, Chris Duarte and Clifton Moore, who has asked for but not yet received his release from Indiana.

The PSA Cardinals and NY Rens AAU programs each have four guys in the game. For the Cardinals, it’s Gak, Brandon Randolph (Arizona), Hasahn French (Saint Louis) and Walter Whyte (BU). They also have two more guys in the National Game in Mohamed Bamba (undecided) and Quade Green (Kentucky).

The Rens placed Tucker, Calixte, Jose Alvarado (Georgia Tech) and Jordan Nwora (Louisville) in the Regional Game.
