All 30 NBA Teams Expected at ACC Tournament Loaded With Prospects

The ACC Tournament this week in Brooklyn will be loaded with NBA prospects and all 30 teams have bought tickets, an ACC spokesman told ZAGSBLOG.

Per DraftExpress.com, the event features three projected Top 10 picks in N.C. State freshman point guard Dennis Smith Jr. at No. 4, Duke freshman small forward Jayson Tatum at No. 5 and Florida State freshman small forward Jonathan Isaac at No. 6.

“The event is rich in talent,” Jonathan Givony, a Brooklyn native, told ZAGSBLOG.

The Knicks, who own their first-round pick this season, dropped to 25-38 after Sunday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors and currently own the NBA’s sixth-worst record.

As of Monday morning, DraftExpress.com had them taking the 6-foot-11, 19-year-old Isaac, who averaged 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds while making the All-ACC Freshman Team along with Smith Jr. and Tatum.

Isaac and Florida State are the No. 2 seed and don’t play until Thursday night’s quarterfinals.

Smith Jr. and N.C. State open play Tuesday at noon against Clemson.

Tatum and Duke open on Thursday afternoon against the Clemson-N.C. State winner.

Beyond the aforementioned prospects, Wake Forest sophomore power forward John Collins is projected at No. 16; Duke freshman power forward Harry Giles, a onetime projected No. 1 pick, at No. 19; Syracuse sophomore forward Tyler Lydon at No. 22; Louisville sophomore shooting guard Donovan Mitchell at No. 24; North Carolina junior wing Justin Jackson, the ACC Player of the Year, at No. 25; and Duke sophomore shooting guard Luke Kennard at No. 27.

Among projected second-round picks are Clemson’s Jaron Blossomgame, Duke’s Grayson Allen, Florida State’s Dwayne Bacon, Notre Dame’s V.J. Beachem, and North Carolina’s Joel Berry.
