Thomas Robinson, one of the breakout stars of the summer evaluation period, has trimmed his list to five schools.
“Yes, I have narrowed my list of schools,” the 6-foot-8, 210-pound Robinson told JayhawkSlant.com. “Memphis, USC, Kansas, Miami and Texas are the schools I’m looking at. Memphis, Kansas and USC are on top. I still have not scheduled any visits yet, but that’s something I’m going to do soon. I hope to have that done by next week.
“I still have to get a few things straightened out,” he added. “I don’t start school until September 9, so I will start taking my visits after that. All of my visits should be scheduled by next week.”
Robinson will reportedly visit Memphis Sept. 6, USC Sept. 13 and Kansas the weekend of September 20. If that doesn’t happen, he could come to “Late Night in the Phog,” when Xavier Henry will also be on campus.
Robinson is ranked No. 23 among power forwards in the Class of 2009 by Rivals.
