Duke to Host Trevon Duval For Carolina Game

Duke is expecting a number of big-time recruits for Thursday’s game against arch-rival North Carolina.

Uncommitted Class of 2017 McDonald’s All-Americans Trevon Duval is expected, as are Duke signees Wendell Carter Jr. and Gary Trent Jr.

“I’m excited to go to that North Carolina-Duke game,” Duval said Sunday in New Jersey, where his IMG Academy team went 2-0 over the weekend. “That’s kind of a kid’s dream go go to one of those games and I’m just excited to see what they have to offer.”

The 6-foot-3 Duval took his first official visit to Kansas last week and plans to also hit Arizona, Seton Hall and Baylor this month.

Kevin Knox, the 6-8 uncommitted senior wing, can’t make it because of a playoff game. He has taken officials to Duke, Florida State and Kentucky and plans to reschedule his final official to UNC.

And Zion Williamson, a 6-7 junior power forward, also has a game that night.
