Tillman chose Utah over schools such as California, Virginia Tech, Creighton, UNLV, Iowa State, Marquette, among others. He took an official visit to Utah last year (Nov. 28).
“It was great overall,” said Tillman on his visit in November. “They really treated me and my mother like royalty,”
He joins Branden Carlson and Jaxon Brenchley as the third commit in the Utes 2017 class. “I’m excited about the MUSS student section. It’s awesome and they always bring energy,” said Tillman. “I’m also excited to be coached by a former NBA player [Larry Krystkowiak],”
“I chose Utah because I can be close to my mother and have the opportunity to come in and make an instant impact,” said Tillman. He is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 8 player in the state of Nevada and #270 nationally.
