Derrick Rose has been fined –but not suspended — by the Knicks for going AWOL from Monday night’s loss to New Orleans for what was reported as a family issue in his native Chicago.
He practiced on Tuesday at the team’s facility in Greenburgh, N.Y., and the Knicks say he is expected to be in uniform for Wednesday’s game in Philadelphia.
Derrick Rose said his absence was a family issue and had nothing to do with basketball.
