Michigan State was already beginning to round into form, and that was before reinstating five-star freshman Miles Bridges from an ankle injury.
With Bridges back in the mix following a seven-game absence, Michigan State beat Rutgers 93-65 on Wednesday, giving the Spartans their fourth straight win.
Bridges posted six points, six boards, and two blocks in 17 minutes off the bench, including a pair of dunks–the second of which nearly brought the Breslin Center’s roof down.

Michigan State became the first Rutgers’ opponent this season to eclipse 50 percent shooting–a big testament to RU coach Steve Pikiell–as the Spartans converted 58 percent of their shots, including 11-of-22 from long range.
Eron Harris broke out of a mini-slump with a game-high 24 points. The senior had combined for just nine points on 3-of-11 shooting over the previous two games.
As is usually the case with a team coached by Tom Izzo, the Spartans are starting to ascend at precisely the right moment.
