Oshae Brissett to Syracuse

Oshae Brissett, the 6-foot-8 small forward from Athlete Institute (ON) Basketball Academy, announced his commitment to Syracuse on Saturday at the Knicks-Raptors game.

“He is an amazing talent with great length and can score the basketball from every angle,” said CIA Bounce coach Tony McIntyre. “He can shoot it and put it on the floor.”

Brissett chose Syracuse over USC, Oregon, and Memphis. He is the first commit in Syracuse’s 2017 class.

“Oshae has great upside,” Athlete Institute coach Chris Cobbina said. “His skill set continues to develop rapidly and I have no doubt his upward trajectory will continue as he’s extremely dedicated to working on his craft everyday. He’s extremely talented and his physical tools allow him to play multiple positions as well as guard multiple positions. He’s an elite athlete who’s best basketball is well in front of him.”
