Tremont Waters to Make College Decision Wednesday

Tremont Waters, the 5-11, 160-pound point guard from Notre Dame (CT) High School, will make his college decision on Wednesday at 4 p.m. according to Joe Morelli.

Waters was initially considering seven schools and has already taken officials to Kansas (Oct. 1), Indiana (Sept. 23), Kentucky (Sept. 16), and Georgetown (Sept. 9). He took an unofficial to Georgetown last week (Oct. 15), which triggered an NCAA violation by the Hoyas because they publicized a picture of Waters with the team.

Ed Waters, Tremont’s father, said the list has been reduced to four, but wouldn’t say which four schools, According to Morelli.

Waters’ decision could be the first major domino that sets off other point guards, including uncommitted 2017 standouts Quade Green, Matt Coleman, Trae Young, Trevon Duval and Collin Sexton.
