Jordan Nwora, the 6-foot-7 Class of 2017 small forward from Vermont Academy and the NY Rens, has trimmed his list to 12 schools and will take an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend, his father told me.

Nwora will take his first official to Georga Tech, where head coach Josh Pastner has been aggressively recruiting players he deems winners.
He landed Christ the King point guard Jose Alvarado and is now among those pursuing Nwora, a Buffalo native.
“We’re hitting the reset button is what we’re doing, that’s why they hired me,” Pastner told me last month. “We’re hitting the reset button, we’re starting all over. And so in order to do that we’ve got to do a great job coaching our current team, but recruiting-wise we’ve got to go out and recruit our tails off and do a great job evaluating as well, too.
“We’re trying to find the guys out there who are top winners, hard-nosed guys that are aligned to our core values and our standards of what we want to achieve.”
