Jordan Tucker took an unofficial visit to Indiana following the Nike EYBL stop this past weekend in Indianapolis, and will now trip to Syracuse this coming weekend along with several other elite recruits.
“I loved the atmosphere and the resources that were available to the student athletes [at Indiana],” the 6-foot-7 Tucker told SNY.tv Monday evening.
Tucker is a Class of 2017 wing who plays for White Plains (N.Y.) Archbishop Stepinac and runs with the NY Rens on the Nike circuit. He is ranked the No. 7 small forward in the class by 247Sports.com.
Indiana is recruiting him hard along with schools like St. John’s and Syracuse.
“Coach [Tom] Crean said that I would fit perfectly in their system because of the shooting ability I have and being able to do other things like handling and passing the ball,” Tucker said.
Thank you Coach Crean & @IndianaMBB for the great experience in Hoosier town today, definitely will be back soon‼️ pic.twitter.com/2GkrABhK91

This weekend Tucker heads to Syracuse along with fellow 2017 targets Hamidou Diallo and Quade Green and Class of 2016 commit Matthew Moyer, who is recruiting all of them to Syracuse.
“I’m beyond excited to get up to Syracuse because I have yet to visit the school so I can’t wait to see the staff and have a good time up there,” Tucker said.
As for Moyer, he added: “I haven’t spoken to Matt other than telling him I’ll be up there, but I’m sure he will have some tricks up his sleeve.”
