Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news:
**Collin Sexton, the 6-2 point guard out of Mableton (GA) Pebblebrook, is expected to take an official visit to N.C. State this weekend, per a source. He is also slated to visit Kansas Oct. 1 for Late Night in the Phog. Sexton blew up this summer in part by leading the USA U17 team to a gold medal in the FIBA U17 World Championship. He is also considering Alabama, Arizona and Florida, among others.
**Makai Ashton Langford, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Brewster (N.H). Academy, will take his official visit to UConn on Saturday. Langford is also considering Providence and is set to visit them later this month (Sept. 17)
**Troy Brown Jr., a 6-6 small forward from Centennial (NV) High School, will take his official visit to Ohio State beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday. He will also visit Alabama (Sept. 9), Oregon (Sept. 23), Kansas (Sept. 30), and Georgetown (Oct. 5). Also included in Brown’s final eight are UNLV, California, and Arizona.
**Christian David, a 6-5 shooting guard from Vermont (VT) Academy, will take an official visit to Pittsburgh on Saturday. He also plans to visit Oregon (Sept. 10). David is down to five schools. His list includes Miami, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Butler, and Creighton.
**Ikechukwu Obiagu, a 7-foot, 230-pound center from Greenforest Mccalep (GA) Christian Academy is currently finishing up a visit at Georgia Tech. He will also visit Maryland starting Friday and ending on Sunday. Obiagu visited both Georgia Tech and Maryland for unofficial visits at the beginning of August.
**McKinley Wright, a 6-foot, 180-pound point guard from Champlin Park (MN) Senior High School will be taking a visit to Minnesota this weekend. Wright will also be visiting Dayton (Sept. 9), Memphis (Sept. 17), and Xavier (Sept. 23). Iowa State is the final school in his top five and he took an unofficial there back in January.
