Recruiting Roundup: Weekend Road Trips

Road TripWith the NCAA Early Signing Period approaching Nov. 11-18, many top recruits will hit the road for visits this weekend.

Here’s a rundown that will be updated over the weekend. For more detail on any player, click the embedded link near their name:

**Villanova has a huge weekend for their Midnight Midness. Here’s a list of who’s expected.

**Kansas hosts big man Jarrett Allena 6-foot-9 power forward from Austin (TX) St. Stephen’s Episcopal who will also trip to Kentucky over Halloween weekend after having visited Notre Dame.

**North Carolina has a huge weekend for it’s ‘Late Night with Roy’ event, hosting 2016 commits Brandon Robinson, a 6-5 shooting guard, and Tony Bradley, a 6-10 power forward, and 2017 pledge Jalek Felton, a 6-2 shooting guard, as well as targets 6-2 Seventh Woods of Columbia (S.C.) Hammond, 6-10 Udoka Azubuike of Jacksonville (FL) Potter’s Christian and 6-5 Rawle Alkins of Word of God. Azubuike is an official visit and Alkins is unofficial The Heels will also host younger players, including Matt Coleman, Brandon Huffman, Rechon Black, Keldon Johnson, Wendell Moore and Joey Baker.

**UCLA hosts 6-9 Arizona power forward T.J. Leaf, who is down to the Bruins, Oregon and San Diego State.

**Michigan State hosts 2016 commits Cassius Winston and Nick Ward, as well as Nojel Eastern, Jaren Jackson, Isaiah Livers, Xavier Tillman, Kevin Easley, Jaron Faulds, Terry Armstrong and Davion Williams.

**VCU hosts Alpha Diallo, a 6-7 2016 small forward from Brewster (N.H.) Academy, and 5-10 2016 point guard Charlie Moore of Chicago Morgan Park, according to HoopSeen.com.

**Virginia Tech hosts 6-9 Oak Hill Academy (VA) power forward Khadim Sy, who is also considering Kansas State, Georgia Tech and Miami. HoopSeen.com also reports they will host Tim Coleman, Branden Jenkins, Markell Johnson and BJ Mack.

**2017 point guard Trae Young of Norman (OK) North will visit Oklahoma State for Midnight Madness on Friday and will then trip to Oklahoma Saturday. OSU also hosts 2016 big man Gorjak Gak and 2016 point guard Loren Jackson, per Hoopseen.

**Oklahoma hosts 2016 big man Marques Bolden, who is also considering Kentucky, Kansas and Duke, among others. The Sooners also host 2017 point guard Jay Jay Chandler, 2017 power forward Isiah Jasey and 2017 wing Brady Manek, who committed to the Sooners on Thursday.

**Xavier hosts 6-4 shooting guard Bruce Brown of Vermont Academy, who previously visited Indiana and trips to Miami next weekend. They also host 2017s Ike Eke, Victor Enoh, Baybe Iyiola and Ikey Obiagu, according to Hoopseen.

**Indiana hosts committed guard Curt Jones of Huntington (W.V.) Prep along with uncommitted 6-6 wing Mario Kegler of Oak Hill Academy (VA), who has also visited Arizona State, Baylor, Mississippi State and Maryland and is closing in on a decision. The Hoosiers also host 2017 forward Kris Wilkes.

**Rutgers hosts 6-4 2017 shooting guard Andrew Platek of Northfield (MA) Mount Hermon, while NMH 2017s Matt Dewolf and Matt Donohue visit Brown.

**Penn State hosts 6-10 Putnam Science (CT) Academy power forward Sedee Keita who has tripped to Temple and Providence.

**Nebraska hosts 2017 Paul VI (VA) point guard Aaron Thompson.

**DePaul is hosting Algevon Eichelberger and Brandon Cyrus both from La Lumiere (IN).

**Hartford is hosting 6-7 shooting guard Jordan Blount of Spire (OH) Institute.
