Battle of the Borders Tips Off in Jersey on Wednesday

When the third and final live period tips off on Wednesday, New Jersey will host the 2nd Annual Battle of the Borders event at Burlington City High School.

The event begins with several showcase games on Wednesday featuring Trevon Duval, Markelle Fultz and Mohamed Bamba, and will conclude with a tournament Thursday-Friday at Life Center Academy.

Duval, who recently added an Arizona offer to offers from Villanova, Syracuse and others, and his We R1 teammates will then fly to Las Vegas on Wednesday night to play in the Fab 48 out there.

“We are extremely excited about being able to bring such great programs together and give kids the opportunity to gain exposure,” said event director Terrence Winters.

Doors open at 4:30 PM

(17s) PSA Cardinals vs. WeR1 @ 5pm
(16s) PSA Cardinals vs. WeR1 @ 6:20pm
(17s) DC Blue Devils vs. WeR1 @ 7:40pm

Life Center Academy ~ July 23 & July 24, 2015
There will be teams competing in the 15u- 17u division in the tournament, which will take place at Life Center Academy. This tournament will feature some of top programs in the region such as WeR1, DC Blue Devils, South Jersey Jazz, Baltimore Finest, Keystone Blazers and more.

The venue is located in the suburbs of Burlington, New Jersey, which is conveniently located between two major airports and only 2 miles off of Interstate-95. The venue is in one central location with a 3-court facility.
