Tevin Mack will announce his college choice at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, he confirmed to SNY.v.
The 6-foot-6 2015 wing out of Columbia (S.C.) Dresser will decide between Texas, Georgia and Clemson.
New Texas coach Shaka Smart had initially secured a commitment from Mack at VCU last November, but he has since re-opened his recruitment.
He is ranked the No. 9 small forward in the Class of 2015 by 247Sports composite rankings, and is the No. 2 player in South Carolina behind P.J. Dozier, who committed to South Carolina.
Mack also visited Georgia.
DIARRA ANNOUNCING FRIDAY
Mamadou Diarra, a 6-8 2016 power forward from Woodstock (CT) Academy, will announce on Friday at 11 a.m. between UConn and VCU, New York Jayhawks coach Jay David told SNY.tv.
He has visited both schools, neither of which has a 2016 pledge yet.
“Mamadou has a great motor and knack for chasing down rebounds to go along with really good footwork,” David said. “That will only improve with stretching out his skill set to beyond 15 feet.
ALLEN STICKING WITH FLORIDA
KeVaughn Allen, one of four members of Florida’s 2015 recruiting class, will stick with Florida, according to reports.
The four-star shooting guard committed to former coach Billy Donovan and the Gators in April of 2014 but waited until the late signing period in 2015 to make it official. He then considered leaving after the coaching change.
“He really likes Coach [Mike] White and feels like he fits the system,” his father told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Kevarrius Hayes and Keith Stone have also said they will honor their LOIs, while Montverde (FL) Academy forward Noah Dickerson will transfer and is expected to announce his visit schedule soon, his AAU coach told SNY.tv.
EUBANKS VISITS ALABAMA
Kobie Eubanks, a 6-5 shooting guard from Delray Beach (FL) Elev8 Institute, will visit Alabama officially beginning Tuesday.
He also considered Kansas, but never made the trip, and the Jayhawks then landed 2016 shooting guard LaGerald Vick over the weekend.
