2016 Point Guard Alterique Gilbert Cuts to 5 Schools; Power Forward Tyler Cook Cuts to 6

4_2971215Alterique Gilbert, a 6-foot 2016 point guard from Lithonia (GA) Miller Grove, has cut his list to five schools, according to Scout.com.

Gilbert is down to UConn, Illinois, Syracuse, Texas, and Louisville.

“I’m definitely going to visit Louisville and Syracuse,” he told Scout. “The others I’m talking over with my mom to make sure it’s the right decision for me.”

“I’m going to take at least two more visits,” Gilbert said. “I’m not sure when yet and then I’m going to decide.”

TYLER COOK CUTS TO 6

4_2917237Tyler Cook, a 6-8 2016 power forward from St. Louis (MO) Chaminade, also cut his list to six on Twitter.

Cook is down to Iowa State, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa, Arizona and Florida.
