Seton Hall Transfer Jaren Sina Still Considering Options

10363734Seton Hall transfer Jaren Sina has not cut his list and is still considering several options, he and his father told SNY.tv.

“I’m still wide open in my process,” Sina told SNY.tv by text.

He said Michigan, Stanford and Boston College “are three schools I’m still considering.”

He also listed South Carolina, Binghamton, George Washington, Rhode Island “and some other A-10s.”

Sina took an official visit to Binghamton, where his younger sister is a point guard on the women’s team.

South Carolina head coach Frank Martin also had  a home-visit with Sina.

Mergin Sina, the player’s father, said Michigan, Stanford and Boston College “are schools that are getting involved more of late.”

“Jaren will take his time on this decision,” he added. “There are so many transfers and coaches leaving. Making a rash decision for Jaren is not good. He needs to find a place that will fit his style of play. Academics are important and will play a big role in where he decides to go.”

Sina will have to sit a year per NCAA transfer regulations unless he obtains a waiver.
