Kuran IversonMemphis sophomore forward Kuran Iverson will transfer after this semester.

The 6-foot-9 cousin of Allen Iverson has been suspended from the team twice, including for the last three games, according to Grant Milner, who first reported the transfer news.

“Kuran and I visited and he will be transferring at the end of the spring semester,” coach Josh Pastner said in a statement. “We thank Kuran for his contributions to the program and wish him well in his future academic and athletic endeavors.”

The Hartford native is averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.

He initially considered UConn and Florida before choosing Memphis.
