Texas’ Taylor Cleared to Play

Texas sophomore guard Isaiah Taylor (left wrist) has been cleared to play in Saturday’s game at Texas Tech, the school announced.

Taylor broke the wrist Nov. 20 against Iowa in the 2K Classic at Madison Square Garden when he crashed hard to the floor after driving to the basket and encountering 6-10 Gabriel Olaseni.

No. 11 Texas (11-2) is 8-2 since Taylor went down. He is averaging 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
