UCLA, N.C. State Watch Brandon Ingram; Pack Checks Out Dennis Smith, Jamal Murray

UCLA head coach Steve Alford and N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried watched uncommitted 2015 forward Brandon Ingram go for 34 points and 11 rebounds Monday at the HSOT Invitational, Kinston (N.C.) coach Perry Tyndall confirmed to SNY.tv.

Ingram is currently projected as the No. 11 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by DraftExpress.com.

Ingram recently told SNY.tv he’s still considering the same six schools.

“Nothing new really,” Ingram told SNY.tv. “The same six schools really, N.C. State, North Carolina, Kansas, Duke, Kentucky and UCLA. Same recruitment, I’ve been with my high school team a lot. I’m not doing a lot of recruiting right now.”

Gottfried also watched 2016 guard Dennis Smith Jr., who recently discussed a potential package with fellow 2016s Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum. Smith Jr. scored 38 points in a loss to Thon Maker and Orangeville.

The N.C. State coach also watched 2016 point guard Jamal Murray of Orangeville Prep, who is considering reclassing to 2015, as we wrote here.
