One of the top players in the nation, P.J. Dozier, will announce his commitment soon.
“Hopefully, he will have his mind made up by this coming weekend,” Dozier’s father, Perry, told SNY.tv Sunday night following P.J.’s official visit to Louisville this weekend. “We will probably just notify the coaches what we will decide to do, and then he would make his announcement on ESPN.”
Dozier is also looking to stay home in Columbia, S.C. to make his announcement.
“I know we spoke about going to Charlotte to do it,” Perry said. “But right now, I think P.J. wants to see if he can get it done here at Spring Valley.”
Ranked No. 24 in the class of 2015 by 247 Sports, Dozier’s final five schools are Louisville, North Carolina, Georgetown, South Carolina and Michigan and his father says that every school has a shot.
He call this weekend’s official visit to Louisville “great.”
“P.J. is just going through the process right now,” Perry said. “He’s just weighing all of his options. All of the schools have a good feel. They’re all still an option, he’s still not sure yet.”
