Recruiting Rundown: Brown Visiting UCLA, Stone at UConn, Blakeney at Kentucky

Here’s your Friday morning look-ahead to the weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend:

**Jaylen Brown, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2015, is visiting UCLA this weekend after previously attending Midnight Madness events at Kansas and Kentucky. Carlton Bragg, who also made those visits, will reschedule his trip to UCLA, his mentor told SNY.tv.

“Coach [Steve] Alford is a great guy and coach [David] Grace, the assistant there, is a great guy too,” Brown recently told Scout.com. “UCLA is a beautiful university. They have a lot of pro guys that go work out there during the summer. It’s just show time basketball. I love the way they get up and down and things like that. I could see myself playing in that style being up and down. It’s just a great university.”

**Diamond Stone, the  6-foot-10 big man from Milwaukee (WI) Dominican, has been at UConn on his official since Thursday following last week’s visit to Wisconsin. He’s also considering Maryland and Oklahoma State. UConn will also host 2017 White Plains (N.Y.) Archbishop Stepinac wing Jordan Tucker on Sunday.

**P.J. Dozier, the 6-7 point guard from South Carolina, is at Louisville, which has zeroed in on him to replace onetime commit Antonio Blakeney. Dozier has also visited South Carolina, Michigan, Georgetown and North Carolina.

**Meantime, Blakeney is visiting Kentucky this weekend and will hit LSU next weekend. He’s also been to Missouri.

“What sticks out the most [about Kentucky] is how coach Cal is for his players and he really wants his players to do well and make it to the next level,” Blakeney told Scout.

“Most every player wants to make it the next level and when you have a coach pushing you to do that it really benefits you,” he added.
