JUCO Guard Efianayi Could Sign Late

Tanksley “Tank” Efianayi, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound shooting guard/small forward from Daytona State (FL), has now visited Arizona State and St. John’s but may wait until the spring to commit.

“Yes, it’s a possibility,” Daytona State coach Ryan Ridder told SNY.tv.

“My plan is to wait and see, but things sometimes never go as planned, so anything could happen,” Efianayi recently told SNY.tv.

St. John’s and Arizona State are the only visits he’s taken, but he said it’s not strictly a two-team race.

“It’s not only between ASU and St. John’s,” he said. “That’s just the only schools I visited.”

Efianayi is a big James Harden fan and he said he enjoyed his weekend visit to ASU.

“It was good, I enjoyed it,” he said.
