Chance Comanche to Arizona

Chance Comanche, a 6-foot-9 center from Los Angeles View Park Prep, committed to Arizona on his official visit this weekend.

“I’ve decided that I’m going to the University of Arizona,” he Tweeted.

Ranked the No. 10 center in the Class of 2015 by 247Sports’s Composite rankings, Comanche also considered Arizona State, N.C. State, UConn and UCLA.

“It was a difficult decision,” he added by text. “All the schools have great programs, coaches and academics, but ultimately I made the decision based on where I fit in best, can contribute to the team and grew as a player.

The news was first reported by Scout.com.

Arizona has long been considered the heavy favorite.

“I’ve always liked the school,” Comanche told the Arizona Daily Star. “They have a good team and great coaches. Sean Miller and Joe Pasternack are great guys.”

He joins point guard Justin Simon, shooting guard Allonzo Trier and wing Ray Smith in Sean Miller’s 2015 recruiting class.
