Juwan Morgan, a 6-foot-9 power forward from Waynesville (MO) Senior, will announce Wednesday evening for Indiana or Vanderbilt, sources confirmed to SNY.tv.
One source said he expects Morgan to pick the Hoosiers.
Evan Daniels of Scout was the first to report the news of the impending decision.
“I had that feeling about each school that you get when you know it’s the place,” he told Inside the Hall. “I’ll sit with my parents and talk more about it.”
Morgan is coming off an official visit to Indiana this weekend that went well.
“Everywhere we went, no matter where we were, everybody knew who they were [the basketball team],” Morgan told Inside the Hall “And just the players are all really chill. I like that the most, probably.”
Morgan also told the site head coach Tom Crean said he can turn him into a “lottery pick.”
“He said he wants to get me into a lottery pick, because there’s a lot of things he sees on the court that I can do that I don’t do enough,” Morgan said. “And he said he can bring that out of me.”
