Terance Mann committed to Florida State Wednesday night.

The 6-foot-4 combo guard from Tilton School (N.H.) says that Florida State was the leading school from the beginning.

“They’ve always been No. 1 on my list, and my favorite school in general,” Mann told SNY.tv. “I knew that this was my right spot for me, God is telling me.”

One of the top players in the NEPSAC, Mann is an extremely active player who can make an impact right away for the Seminoles.

Mann says that it was the relationship with the coaching staff that sold him to make the decision.

“It was Coach [Leonard] Hamilton,” Mann said. “I have faith in him. He can help me get to the next level. I am close to the assistant coach as well. He has been recruiting me for a really long time.”

With former Brewster combo guard Aaron Thomas already in Tallahassee, Mann says that he would try to get some NEPSAC players to join him at FSU.

“Probably my teammate from BABC, Jeremy Miller,” Mann said. “A.J. Turner from New Hampton, Omari Spellman, Markis MacDuffie as well.”

A standout at the Super Showcase in Louisville, Mann has shown time and time again that he can be a big time player at the next level.
