Briscoe Says St. John’s, Arizona, Rutgers Call Him the Most

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — The Isaiah Briscoe Sweepstakes is red hot.

Coaches from all the schools recruiting the 6-foot-3 Roselle (N.J.) Catholic guard watched him lead the Playaz Basketball Club to the Nike Peach Jam championship on Sunday afternoon as Briscoe was named to the ZAGSBLOG Peach Jam All-1st Team.

In the above interview with Dan Poneman of Krossover TV, Briscoe says that three schools call him the most.

“St. John’s, Coach [Steve] Lavin, Coach [Sean] Miller [from Arizona], those are probably the only two,” he said, before adding, “Coach [Eddie] Jordan from Rutgers.”

Briscoe is considering Arizona, Louisville, St. John’s, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Villanova. He broke down his schools here and is expected to decide sometime this fall.
