After going undrafted in Thursday’s NBA Draft and receiving no invite to a summer league team, Aquille Carr may land overseas or in the NBA D-League.
“We will look into sending him back to the NBA D-League for one more year,” his agent, Daniel Hazan, told SNY.tv. “He will entertain overseas offers as well.”
The 5-foot-6 Carr, a onetime Seton Hall commit, was waived in January by the Delaware 87ers, the NBA D-League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers. He was averaging 10.7 points and 1.9 assists.
Carr was selected by Delaware with the ninth pick of the third round in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft.
He was one of three NBA Draft-eligible players playing this season in the D-League and one of two players to play this season in the D-League without having played in college.
