Butler landed a commitment from 6-foot-9 2015 center Nate Fowler of Cincinnati Moeller, a source confirmed to SNY.tv.
Fowler also had interest fromĀ Dayton, Michigan, Miami (FL) and West Virginia, according to the Indy Star.
“I picked Butler because of the coaching staff, the team chemistry, their style of play, the history of their program, and their academics,” Fowler told SNY.tv. “I will bring size and a diverse skill set of shooting rebounding, passing, post presence and solid fundamentals. I am working on this summer getting healthy and improving my foot speed as well as my explosiveness.”
Butler coach Brandon Miller lost five players to transfer, but has since added incoming forward Jackson Davis, former Indiana guardĀ Austin Etherington, who is eligible immediately, and former N.C. State point guard Tyler Lewis, who must sit a year.
