Former USF big man John Egbunu is transferring to Florida, according to multiple reports.
The 6-foot-10, 245-pound native of Nigeria averaged 7.4 points and 6.2 rebounds and grabbed a Florida freshman-record 198 rebounds last season. He will have to sit out next season as per NCAA regulations.
Egbunu also considered Michigan State and Virginia Tech, according to CBSSports.com.
Florida already has shooting guard KeVaughn Allen and power forward Kevarrius Hayes in the Class of 2015.
