Harry Giles is set to return this weekend in Hampton, Va., for the third session on the Nike EYBL Circuit.
When if he asked if he was ready, his answer was clear.
“Yessir! The knee is feeling good,” Giles told SNY.tv. “It’s coming along day by day. When I first get back to playing, I’m going to take it slow, but at the same time, I’m going to want to put on a show. Its going to be gradual though. Just take it step by step. I’m going to be smart and take my time.”
Giles worked out in front of Duke’s Coach K and assistant coach Jeff Capel during the last live period, and says that it was nice to catch up with all of the coaches again.
“It was really fun,” Giles said. “I hadn’t seen Coach K in a while, so that was really nice. I’m 6-foot-10 now and was 215 pounds when I got hurt, and I lost it, but I’m back up to 215 pounds right now, so I feel great.”
Giles, the No. 1 player in the class of 2016 by 247 Sports, currently has offers from Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, Florida State, Georgetown, Maryland, Missouri, NC State, Ohio State and Wake Forest.
