Tobias and Tyler Harris both attended Saturday’s Michigan-UConn game won by the Huskies, 69-61.
UConn coach Jim Calhoun has offered both Tobias, a 6-8 junior, and Tyler, a 6-5 sophomore wing.
“They liked the trip,” Torrel Harris, the boys’ father, said. “Ray Allen, Cliff Robinson and Chris Smith were present at the game. Coach Calhoun was glad to see both of my sons at the game and spoke to them at length.”
Tobias, the No. 9 power forward in the Class of 2010 according to Rivals, previously visited UConn in September.
He has a long list of schools including UConn, Tennessee, Louisville, Syracuse, Rutgers, Georgetown, Virginia, Maryland, Marquette, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, St. John’s, Boston College, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Indiana and USC.
The Harris brothers play for Long Island Lutheran and will be in action Tuesday night against Bob Hurley’s St. Anthony team in Jersey City at 7 p.m. The Friars feature Villanova-bound wing Dominic Cheek, Quinnipiac-bound forward Jamee Jackson and talented forwards Devon Collier, Ashton Pankey and Derrick Williams.
