Teki Gill-Caesar Won’t Reclass to 2014

2015 Huntington Prep wing Montaque “Teki” Gill-Caesar won’t reclass to 2014, his AAU coach told SNY.tv.

“He’s not reclassing, no,” Tony McIntyre of CIA Bounce said. “He doesn’t want to have to hurry it up and leave early or anything.”

The 6-foot-5 Gill-Caesar had considered reclassing the way former Huntington Prep star Andrew Wiggins did last year. Wiggins is projected as a top-2 pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

Chip Miller previously reported the news on his Twitter.

While in New York last week for the DICK’s Sporting Goods High School National Invitational, Gill-Caesar listed  Kansas, Michigan State, Florida State, Kentucky, Illinois, Providence and West Virginia as those recruiting him the hardest of late, but said he does not have any visits planned in the near future.

McIntyre said the player is “wide open.”

Gill-Caesar went for 20 points in a 65-63 win over La Lumiere (IN) in the quarterfinals of the event.
