Duke Pledge Grayson Allen Wins McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest

Duke-bound Grayson Allen won the McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest Monday night in Chicago when he jumped over 6-foot-10 Jahlil Okafor — his future Duke teammate –– while wearing a retro No. 22 Jay Williams Duke jersey. Allen topped Karl-Anthony Towns, Theo Pinson, A’ja Wilson, Justise Winslow, Kelly Oubre and Stanley Johnson.

The 6-foot-4 Allen will be joining Okafor, Winslow and Tyus Jones next year in Durham.

Allen, from Jacksonville, Fla., chose Duke over Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Purdue, South Florida, Texas and Virginia Tech.
