KA’LIAL GLAUD A ‘HUGE’ GET
Just got off the phone with recruiting analyst Chris Melvin and he couldn’t stop raving about Ka’Lial Glaud, a 6-2, 217-pound outside linebacker from Atco (NJ) Winslow Township who committed to Rutgers Wednesday after literally flipping a coin at his press conference to decide between Rutgers and West Virginia.
“That’s huge,” Melvin said. “You had Penn State, West Virginia knocking on his door. Everybody wanted that kid. He’s 6-2 ½, 220 pounds of solid muscle. He won the linebacker MVP at the Big Time Football Showcase. Nobody gets on the outside of the kid.
“He brings a tenaciousness, speed, confidence, athleticism at the outside LB position. He’s a leader out there on the field. He’s a disciplined ballplayer. He slides up on the ball well. He covers well. He’ll be able to cover the tight end because he’s so athletic. That’s a phenomenal get right there.”
