At this point, what froncourt player wouldn’t want to play with Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis?
The Orange are 24-0 and ranked No. 1 in the nation and Ennis is the newest freshman sensation.
But incoming 6-foot-10 Syracuse signee Chris McCullough actually could play with Ennis next year.
And he would like to.
Very much.
“I’m hoping he stays so I can play with him,” McCullough told SNY.tv after going for 30 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in IMG Academy’s win over South Carolina Sports Academy Friday night.
“I think we would be good together. He’ll make me look good as much as I will make him look good.”
Of course, it remains unclear if McCullough and Ennis will ever play together. Ennis is ranked in the Top 10 picks of several mock drafts, but Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said he doesn’t think the Canadian sensation will come out.
