Bragg Lands Arizona Offer; Kentucky Due in to Watch

Arizona is the latest high-major program to offer 2015 power forward Carlton Bragg.

“We talked to Sean Miller tonight,” Michael Graves, Bragg’s mentor, told SNY.tv by phone.

“He said he’s looking forward to recruiting him hard and watching him play and he’s going to try to make it down. He loves Carlton’s game and he offered him a scholarship.”

Meantime, Bragg turns 18 on Saturday and he has a home game at Villa Angela St. Joseph (Ohio) against Euclid.

Kentucky, Ohio State, Illinois and West Virginia all may show up to see Bragg, ranked No. 10 in the Class of 2015 by Rivals.

“Coach Cal texted [Thursday] night and said his first opportunity he’s going to be down to check Carlton out,” Graves said. (Kentucky visits North Carolina on Saturday.)

Bragg recently took an unofficial to Kentucky and Graves has maintained contact with coach John Calipari and assistant Orlando Antigua.

Other schools are also expected to come Saturday.

“Saturday is Carlton’s birthday,” Graves said. “A lot of schools are coming in. Illinois, Ohio State, West Virginia and Kentucky are inquiring. We should have a lot of schools this Saturday for Carlton’s birthday.”
