Booker Calls Mizzou Visit ‘Great Time’

Devin Booker enjoyed his weekend visit to Missouri, telling SNY.tv, “It was a great time!”

Jason Jordan of USA Today reported that Booker will return to Missouri this weekend for the ceremony honoring his father and the 1993-94 team.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard attends Moss Point (MS) High and is considering Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida and Missouri and is expected to announce Oct 31.

His father, Melvin Booker, was an All-American at Missouri and Devin said he always feels at “home” there.

“First, it’s my dad’s alma mater,” Devin told SNY.tv in August at the Elite 24.

“I just have a great relationship with Coach [Frank] Haith and Coach [Tim] Fuller. They’ve been recruiting me since they’ve been there. I’ve been up there back and forth since the eighth grade. I’ve been there five or six times. Fans show a lot of love with my dad being there.

“You want to feel like home and that’s what Missouri feels like when I’m there.”
