At the football game, some USC fans made signs urging Johnson to pick the Trojans and not to pick Kentucky, which he is considering along with Arizona, USC, Florida and Oregon. (The picture above was Tweeted by @UKsportstalk1)
“That’s crazy,” Johnson told SNY.tv Monday. “I love it. I’m glad to see USC basketball fan support.”

“I learned that the fans are crazy and they are still recruiting other good players,” Johnson said. “The game was great. The energy was crazy in that arena.”
The 6-foot-6 Johnson still has four visits planned — to Kentucky (Oct. 18), Oregon (Oct. 24), Florida (Nov. 1) and USC (Nov. 15).
“I will be in Lexington this weekend,” he said.
Johnson will be joined by several other 2014 players, including Kentucky pledge Tyler Ulis, James Blackmon Jr. and Trey Lyles.
With Kelly Oubre off the board to Kansas, Kentucky is looking to land some combination of Johnson, Blackmon Jr. and Devin Booker on the wing.
Johnson previously said he plans to commit after the New Year.
