Whitehead to Visit Seton Hall Sept. 14; Home Visits Set (UPDATED)

Isaiah Whitehead has two home visits next week and will take an unofficial visit to Seton Hall on Sept. 14,  Lincoln coach Tiny Morton told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-4 Lincoln guard will have home visits with Minnesota and Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Minnesota also visits with Blair Academy wing Marial Shayok on Wednesday.

The Seton Hall visit was always slated for Sept. 14, not Sept. 7 as I originally wrote.

It will be the Brooklyn Lincoln guard’s first visit since tripping to Indiana unofficially Aug. 25.

Whitehead, the co-MVP of the Elite 24 game after dropping 26 points in a winning effort for Team Coney Island, is also considering Arizona, UCLA, Minnesota, Louisville and Syracuse. No other visits are finalized.

Seton Hall recently landed a pledge from 2014 forward Angel Delgado, and would appear to be a longshot for Whitehead.

Still, getting him on campus is a great first step for coach Kevin Willard and his staff.
