  • Top-30 prospect Mouhamed Sylla chooses Georgia Tech

    By SAM LANCE

Mo Sylla, the No. 29 overall prospect in prospect in the 2025 class, has committed to Georgia Tech, he announced live to 247Sports

Sylla — the 6-foot-10, 240-pound big man from the NBA Academy Africa and Bella Vista Prep — chose the Yellow Jackets over Arkansas and Oregon.

“On my visit over there, I felt like I’m at home,” Sylla said during the announcement. “I know they’ll help me to make my dream.”

The success Damon Stoudamire has had with sophomore forward Baye Ndongo from a Senegal was a major draw for Sylla.

“He was an NBA player,” Sylla said of Stoudamire. “I know he can get me right. He does a good job with my boy Ndongo.”

Georgia Tech has built an impressive 2025 class. Sylla will join Akai Fleming, Brandon Stores, Cole Kirouac and Eric Chatfield Jr. on the 2025-26 roster.
