It turns out the Uber Eats delivery driver at the Duquesne game on Wednesday was a YouTube/TikTok prankster.
During the game between Duquesne and Loyola Chicago, it appeared that an Uber Eats driver with a McDonald’s bag ended up on the floor. The incident forced a pause in the game.

The announcers — and many others — believed it was a real live event, but it turned out the guy was wearing a microphone and some folks were filming it for his social media channels.
Predictably, Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot was not lovin’ it when he spoke with reporters after the game.
“Only at Duquesne can a guy deliver food on the court during the game,” Dambrot said. “Craziest thing I’ve ever seen in my life, other than when I was an assistant at Eastern Michigan, we had these friends of ours that were good fans. And they got the ice cream guy to deliver the ice cream to the coach coaching the game, during the game. The closest thing I’ve seen to that.”
